Black Adam Review
The movie starts with the resurrection of Keth Adam, the almighty ancient anti-hero with the immense capability of wreaking havoc. The origin of Keth and his misinterpreted past revolves around Kahndaq, a modern-day city ruled by an enforced militia called an Inter gang.
As per the official custom of a supervillain movie, a team of specially powered individuals is assembled in order to restrict the almighty Keth Adam. ( With the prime objective of making him surrender through the power-diffusing word SHAZAM ). The special team is termed the Justice Society and includes several iconic DC Comics characters like Doctor Fate, Atom Smasher The Hawkman and Cyclone that finally make their way to the big screen.
The rest of the action-packed movie revolves around the efforts of the Justice Society to stop Keth Adam and draw his unconditional surrender. Followed by a parallel layer of Intergang (the criminal militia) and their secretive evil doing with the ancient powers of Kahndaq.

The palette of superheroes explored in this powerful action film is a sign of hope for the entire DC Universe. Moreover, the film does not attempt to be another ensemble version of The Justice League but rather a much-refined version of a truly original DC film.
Unlike other genre movies, Black Adam features a unique collaboration of a bunch of heroes with an inherent villain. A fine combination that produces some soul-satisfying VFX/CGI results. The use of slow motion is frequent but does not feel repetitive or mundane. On the contrary, the USP of the action feature is the core clash scenes between the good and bad guys.

Furthermore, the second half of the film holds brilliantly, and as a whole, it is perfectly paced. It looks like DC has finally resolved the issues with the stretched screen time and found the optimum solution.
The cast of the film has done justice (literally) to the entire feature. Dwayne Johnson is pitch-perfect in the role of the anti-hero, whereas Pierce Brosnan steals the show. The James Bond fame actor is the striking element of the movie with one of the most empowering monologues of all time.
Final Thoughts

The film is a must-watch crowd entertainer with several guaranteed moments of whistle and claps. There is a consistent rate of action-packed sequences layered with a near-perfect screenplay. Moreover, the long wait for DC fans was completely worth it and will definitely leave them with an adrenaline rush.
