Bitch x Rich Season 2 Episode 6 Recap
The episode opens with Je-na getting into a mysterious car while Jin-wook and Yul-hee go to a nightclub to spy on Woo-jin. Of course, things get a little spicy between the two in the end. Elsewhere, Hye-in gets dressed up to meet Sa-rang, after goading him to meet her if he doesn’t want to be exposed for having Si-eun’s phone. Surprisingly, Hye-in’s Diamond 6 card gets them priority entry into the club.
Hye-in ends up meeting Sa-rang at the club, but before they can get to talking, someone steals his bag and runs. Meanwhile, Je-na learns that her stepmother’s baby isn’t her father’s. The three eventually run into each other on the street, leaving Hye-in confused.
Either way, Hye-in confronts Sa-rang, and he tells her that So-mang was on the roof the night that Si-eun died, trying to stop her from leaking Hye-in’s video. However, Si-eun was already arguing with someone else, and they were the ones who pushed her over the edge. The videos are still on the phone, and Sa-rang hasn’t been able to unlock it yet.
As they plan on checking the club’s CCTV, we see that the person who ran with Sa-rang’s bag was Woo-jin. He is able to unlock the phone that night and delete his own video before finding Hye-in’s as well.
The next morning, news breaks about Je-na’s drug use, while Woo-jin reaches out to Yul-hee with Si-eun’s phone, hoping to get back together, and although she rejects him at first, Hye-in’s video piques her interest. She later asks Hae-in to plant drugs in Je-na’s bag and blackmails her with her video with Woo-jin, and she, unfortunately, has no option but to follow along. The Diamond 6 have a meeting later, and Yul-hee and Woo-jin ask Je-na to step down, but she refuses, stating that she hasn’t done anything wrong.
For some reason, Woo-jin decides to threaten Jin-wook as well, but he tells him to do whatever he wants with the evidence he says that he has and warns him that Woo-jin will be kicked out of Diamond 6 first if he continues doing what he’s doing.
Later, as Cha Ki-ho asks Hee-su to take a side, stating that Hanmyeong is about to erupt in controversy, Yul-hee is shocked not to find the drugs in Je-na’s locker. Woo-jin eventually finds it, and Hye-in spots the bruise on his arm, indicating that he was the one who stole Sa-rang’s bag in the club.
As Je-na gets tested for drugs, Yul-hee gossips about her and Hye-in steps in to defend her. Hye-in accuses Yul-hee of planting the drugs and then instructs her to put Woo-jin on a tighter leash. In a shocking turn of events, Je-na tests positive for drugs, and we see her stepmother switching out her prescriptions with Seradex.
Bitch x Rich Season 2 Episode 6 Review
What an interesting turn of events this week. Episode 5 was a fun one, but 6 takes a darker turn with real-world consequences coming in for Je-na, Hye-in and Hae-in. I think this episode starts off with unnecessary petty drama, giving us the wrong impression and ends with a banger of a cliffhanger. I am invested in figuring out where the series will go from here. Hopefully, there’s something truly dark on the horizon for our protagonists to sift through!
