Big Bet Season 2 Episode 1 Preview: When, Where and How to Watch!

Patiently waiting for the Season 2 premiere? Read on to find out more about the Big Bet Season 2 Episode 1 preview. Previously known as King Of Savvy,  Big Bet (카지노) is an original Disney+ South Korean drama series directed by Nam Ki-hoon, and Kang Yoon-sung (known for helming The Outlaws (2017)), who is also stepping in as these screenwriter. The series stars Choi Min-sik as Cha Moo-sik, Son Suk-ku as Oh Seung-hoon and Lee Dong-hwi as Jeong-pal in the lead roles, alongside others.

The first season of the show concluded its run of eight episodes on December 28, 2022, while the sequel had been confirmed beforehand along with the novel release of Season 1 itself. It was only a matter of time for the new season’s release date to come out, and we’re heading into the third week of February while bracing ourselves for the next instalment’s Episode 1.

The action and crime-driven plot of the series puts us right in the midst of the cut-throat environment of casinos, with Cha Moo-sik reigning high on the charts and everyone fearing him in the Philippines. However, things take a turn when he gets entangled in a murder case and is compelled to play the biggest bet for his life to win the “fierce game of survival”.

Season 1 ended on a hair-raising note as Tae-seok held up a gun against Moo-sik. The final scene left us with numerous questions as to who finally pulled the trigger in the distance, and if anyone got hurt in the process once the camera pulled away from the sightings of Moo-sik’s house. The upcoming second run of the K-drama is set to pick up from right where it left us off.

Big Bet Season 2 Episode 1 Prediction

With how things were left off last season, Philip and So-jung’s deaths are bound to leave a scar, but even then, they were mere pawns in the bigger picture that is yet to unfold. Moo-sik’s dynamic with Tae-seok will be investigated further, while Inspector Seung-hoon will act on his suspicions against the prominent Casino-owner. This will help us circle back to the major incident that opened the absolute first episode of the series – Min Seok-jun’s murder and Moo-sik, his ‘right hand’ being implicated for the same.

Episodes 1, 2 and 3 will stream on Disney+ Hotstar on February 15, 2023.
