Better Call Saul Mid Season Finale, aka Episode 7, was released on Monday, May 23. Created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, the show stars Bob Odenkirk as Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman, Rhea Seehorn as Kim Wexler, Jonathan Branks as Mike Ehrmantraut, Patrick Fabian as Howard Hamlin, and Michael Mando as Nacho Varga, Tony Dalton as Lalo Salamanca and Giancarlo Esposito as Gus Fring.
The article contains spoilers for Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 7 titled ‘Plan and Execution’. In the last episode, we see Saul and Kim’s plan to bring down Howard Hamlin coming to its full succession. Howard knows it’s the duo and goes to their house to confront them. On the other hand, Lalo Salamanca is in Alburquerqe to teach Gus Fring a lesson. However, the Chicken Man (as Lalo describes him) is smarter than Lalo.
After spending some time in the sewers, Lalo heads out to visit Saul Goodman. Sadly, it’s terrible timing for Howard, who’s also present that Saul and Kim’s house. The moment Lalo enters the house, we know that things will go haywire. However, no one would have expected Lalo to take out his gun and kill Howard at point-blank. After watching that terrifying scene play on screen, the shock on Saul and Kim’s faces is all of us.
After watching the episode, many Better Call Saul fans took to Twitter to share their reactions. Some compared Howard’s death to Hank’s tragic death in Breaking Bad. Fans reacted by sharing memes and tweets and expressing how they were impressed with the show and felt bad for Howard.
