Becoming Witch Episode 5 (The Witch is Alive / 마녀는 살아있다) is the next episode in the row for Netflix’s latest mystery-comedy Korean drama. Created by Kim Yun-chul and Park Pa-ran, the series stars Lee Yu-ri, Lee Min-young and Yoon So-yi. The TV Chosun series revolves around the lives of 3 women who find alternative methods to deal with the problems in their lives!

Becoming Witch Plot

Netflix describes the series as: “Three women in their 40s reach a breaking point as their already-frustrating lives go completely off the rails.” Our protagonists are Ma-ri, Hee-soo and Jin-a, who struggle to make it through every day in their lives peaceful and often are housing trouble and complications underneath.

The cast features Lee Yu-ri, Lee Min-young and Yoon So-yi, alongside Jung Sang-hoon, Kim Young-jae, Ryu Yeon-seok, Kim Sa-kwon, Han So-eun and other cast members.

The series will stream from Jun 25, 2022, to Sep 10, 2022. The fifth episode of the show will be available on Netflix on July 30, 2022.

After Hee-soo, Ma-ri and Jin-a go through some difficulties all throughout the episodes from their family and partners, we finally see some shocking revelations coming to light. Hee-soo, who is investigated for killing her mother-in-law due to an accusation put forward by her sister-in-law, agrees to the blame.

Jin-a has been followed by a man in a black hoodie for some time now and it now turns out to be her husband, Woo-bin. As for Ma-ri, looks like she has found out about Nak-goo and Go-eun marrying and is left helplessly running.

Becoming Witch Episode 5 Predictions

According to the preview of the upcoming episode, we are going to see Jin-a confront Woo-bin, who seemingly does not remember anything about the past. The two get together and pull some shenanigans together and end up kissing. Hee-soo tries to apologize to Mu-young but, it is a mess. Mu-young even suggests that they should get a divorce.

Ma-ri has captured Nak-gu at a place which looks like an abandoned hospital, away from the town. He might sue Ma-ri by framing her that she beats him.
