Ayushmann Khurrana Reveals His Next Project, More Deets Inside!

The last Ayushmann Khurrana projects that we can all recall are the 2020 films Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and Gulabo Sitabo. Since that, we haven’t heard much of what Khurrana is up to next. However, the actor recently announced his next title on social media and, fans cannot keep calm! Looks like, Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to collaborate with filmmaker Aanand L Rai after the Shubh Mangal film franchise.

The upcoming project is going to be backed by Rai and Bhushan Kumar, starring Ayushman Khurrana in the lead. The actor took over Instagram to share a glimpse of his next project where he revealed the title and other details in form of an animated clip.

On his social media handle, Ayushmann wrote: “Dikkat Bas Ek Hi Hai, Mujhe Ladne Ki Acting Aati Hai, Ladna Nahin… Super excited for a genre-breaking collab ONCE AGAIN with @Aanandlrai and #BhushanKumar! This one’s special! #ActionHero.”

The film comes from T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions and tells the story of an actor’s life- in front and behind the lens. It is going to have some offbeat satirical humour and is also going to mark Ayushmann Khurrana’s debut in the action genre movie.

Variety.com reports that producer Bhushan Kumar, who is the head of T-series said: “Ayushmann perfectly fits the bill of the eponymous ‘Action Hero’ in this film. We can’t wait for it to go on floors and see him live the character.” Meanwhile, Producer Aanand L. Rai of Colour Yellow said: “It is the third time we will be collaborating with Ayushmann on a film. It’s always a pleasure working with him and I’m quite excited to have the film go on floors.”

Apart from this, Ayushmann Khuranna has two other projects coming out titled “Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui” and “Anek.”
