Andor Season 2 looks like a huge possibility at this point, especially given the finale of the show for season one wrapped up. Created by Tony Gilroy, the prequel series to the 2016 Star Wars spin-off Rogue One has Tony Gilroy, Dan Gilroy, Stephen Schiff and Beau Willimon as the writers for the show.
The show has an ensemble cast that has Diego Luna reprising his role of Cassian Andor aka Kassa along with Kyle Soller as Syril Karn, Adria Arjona as Bix Caleen, Joplin Sibtain as Brasso, James McArdle as Timm Karlo, Rupert Vansittart as Chief Hyne, Stellan Skarsgård as Luthen Rael, Fiona Shaw as Maarva Andor, Alex Ferns as Sergeant Linus Mosk, Gary Beadle as Clem Andor, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma and Denise Gough as Dedra Meero. There are a lot of 12 episodes, each with a runtime of 40-50 minutes.
Andor Season 2: When Will It Release?
It was clear from the very start that the series will have two seasons. Although people had their own set of doubts, Tony Gilroy has already revealed that season two is very much happening for Andor. The post-credit scene of the show revealed the building of the Death Star. We also saw Cassian officially joining the Rebellion and staying back at Ferrix, all of this points towards the fact that season two will deal with Cassian’s working in the Rebellion.

As the first season of the show was dedicated to showing how Cassian will become a part of the Rebellion, it is only plausible that the second season of the show deals with the nitty-gritty details of Cassian’s workings in the Rebel Alliance that gives him the position that we see him in Rouge One.
Most of the star cast can be seen returning for Andor Season 2. Moreover, a second season will offer the audience the chance to check their Kino-Snoke theory in regard to Andy Serkis. It would be interesting to see if it actually turns out the way fans are picturing it to be.
