Alchemy of Souls season 2 episode 5 brings our favourite ships finally sailing away into the horizon, but this comes with a downside being our beloved Seo Yul. Directed by Park Joon-hwa and starring Lee Jae-wook, Go Yoon-jung, Hwang Min-hyun, Shin Seung-ho, Yoo Jun-sang, Oh Na-ra and Jo Jae-yoon, alongside other cast members, the sequel premiered on tvN on December 10, 2022.
Episode 5 has really brought love into the air this Christmas Eve and fans are loving this atmosphere as they witness their ships sail tonight with this episode. From lovely moments shared between our favourite duos from the show, including the crown prince and Jang Uk, this episode has been filled with love.
However, this also comes with heartbreak for all Seo Yul fans as he brings us all pain and more pain in this episode. With the bloodworm inside his body that has determined his end (at least for now), and his finding the truth behind Jin Bu-yeon’s identity, the aura of loneliness and pain has gotten thicker around him.
But Seo Yul has got his fans and they are sure to create chaos if anything happens to our beloved mage who is the best but also an airhead. And so, coming back to episode 5, we have gotten a beautiful proposal this week along with a heartwarming moment between Cho-yeon and Dang-gu.
On the other hand, Bu-yeon continues to make Jang Uk crazy as he finally realises that it is not the jade egg that is bringing about the familiar feeling that he has been feeling around Bu-yeon. However, what has really got us excited is Seo Yul finding out that Bu-yeon is none other than Mu-deok whom they have all missed in these three years.
