Alchemy of Souls 2 is finally making its return and tvN is not stopping itself from teasing fans each day, giving us a love-and-hate feeling already. Starring Lee Jae-wook, Go Yoon-jung, Jung So-min, Hwang Min-hyun, Shin Seong-ho, alongside other cast members, the Kdrama is created by Park Joon-hwa, Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran.
After the exciting teaser and the poster, we are now being treated with stills from the upcoming season and today we get sneak peeks of the most looked forward to character- Naksu aka Cho Yeong which is played by none other than Go Yoon-jung. These stills were exactly what we wanted and finally seeing them brought forth our satisfaction as we get mesmerised by the actor.
Earlier today, tvN took to social media to once again tease fans of the show and this time it is with new stills of Naksu as she shows a softer side which brings a change that she has experienced during her time as Mu-deok. These stills show a side which is so different from her dangerous looks as Naksu from season 1 and we are loving them both.
While the teaser poster of Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow made us look forward to the reunion of this beloved couple, the stills released today once again assure us that while the face may have changed, the one Jang Uk loves is still the same and right here. And from the background, it looks like she is somewhere near Jang Uk and not too far away.
While Jung So-min as Mu-deok may have been gone, but Naksu is still her and the love she experienced while living as Mu-deok will continue with this new face and body. However, the biggest mystery that we need answers to is how Naksu’s body survived the fire that burnt it.

These mysteries are all ready to be solved next month, but for now, we’ve brought some fan comments that have melted our hearts. There is no doubt that fans of the show and Jung So-min found it hard when the news of her being replaced by Go Yoon-jung came out.
