During the wedding Toyin caught the bride’s bouquet by mistake and tosses it to Uche – which can be seen as the premonition for what to come. In their individual lives, Uche is a gallery owner and to run her gallery, she is having an affair with a rich man named Sam – who is also her business partner. But she despises the man, while he is always asking for sexual favors and even humiliates her at an event.
While Toyin comes to comfort her friend, we get to know that she is actually going through a IUI procedure and has to visit the fertility clinic in the morning. That’s when she meets up with Sunday on a train, who formally introduces himself and tells her that he’s getting divorce & not cheating on his wife. While they have a casual talk, on their way back they find themselves stuck together, since the trains are not working.

They have dinner together and sparks fly off among them, however, it’s not a smooth sail. On the other hand, Sunday is the groom’s brother and thus he ends up meeting with Uche at the family dinner and they also hit it off. For a while he dates both of them but his brother Femi tells him to break up with both, for the sake of his family.
However, things don’t go the way he wants and he isn’t able to break-up with any, until one day he gathers the courage and tells Uche he isn’t ready for a relationship, after she had a fight with Sam. Soon, he also breaks up with Toyin. She was already feeling heartbroken, when she got to know from her fertility clinic tests that she might have cancer.
With her life fleeting away from her, she decides to live recklessly and goes to the nightclub. On the other hand, Sunday wasn’t able to handle his feelings as he is in love with both the ladies. While Toyin decides to go away with two boys, Uche on the contrary gets scared if something bad happens to her and calls her sister for help. Sunday hears about it and goes out to find Toyin.

They get to know that Toyin left night club instead of going with the boys and Sunday finds her at the spot that she had introduced as her comfort place. There she reveals to him that she has cancer and that reminds him of her own mother who died of cancer, when he was 10. He gets emotional thinking of it and makes up with Toyin, promising that he will take care of her. While he had also confessed his love to Uche a while back at the nightclub.
Believing his words, Uche decides to end her partnership with Sam and he gets violent at the news and that’s when Toyin also comes in to reveal about her illness. She also tells her about the secret man she had been telling about and how she hesitated because Uche had history with Sunday. Uche is left stumped at the news where she thought she was in a relationship with Sunday.
She confronts him in his office where he says that he loves her but due to Toyin’s illness he can’t break off with her, as she needs him and her best friend as well. Months go on and Sunday takes up the role of Toyin’s caretaker while keeping his distance from Uche and acting normal in front of everyone.

While Toyin’s condition was already bad, she felt something was wrong and decided to take a pregnancy test – which turns out to be positive. Simultaenously, Sunday goes to Uche’s gallery and they end up getting intimate. Soon after, Toyin announces that she is pregnant and will stop the treatment of cancer, as she wants to give birth to her baby without any harm.
She decides to go on a vacation and Uche is also seen closing her gallery, as she doesn’t have the funds to continue. But just then a man comes looking for artworks with a big budget, enough to salvage her business. Meanwhile, Toyin ends up in a hospital with excruciating pain and the doctors had to deliver the baby but they couldn’t save the mother.
In the end, we see that Uche got a letter from Toyin, in which she tells that she saw her and Sunday getting intimate in the gallery, that day. Instead of getting angry she made peace with it since the two person she loves, are with each other. The man who bought the artwork was also sent by her and she asks her to give the same love to her daughter, who is in Sunday’s arms, as the three of them step out to go to Toyin’s funeral.
