A Part of You on Netflix: Release Date, Plot and More About Upcoming Swedish Drama

What happens when the person you were envious of but loved the most ends up tragically passing away? That’s the question that Netflix’s upcoming Swedish drama film A Part of You is hoping to uncover. The streaming platform covers a ton of different topics every week and almost always catches our eyes with the subject matter. With relevant and relatable conversations taking place in every show, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

A Part of You Plot

Agnes is an awkward teenager who wants all the things that kids her age want – to be acknowledged and loved by those around her for who she is. Her sister Julia, on the other hand, is the exact opposite of her and possesses everything that she doesn’t, making her super popular in school, everyone loves her and she is also dating Noel, a fellow student whom everyone seems to have a crush on.

However, when Julia tragically passes away in a freak accident, a heartbroken Agnes reinvents herself in order to fill the void in her heart. She starts to dress and act more like her sister, much to everyone’s confusion and grows closer to Noel as well, who seems to have been present during Julia’s last moments. However, is all of this Agnes’ grief talking or is she truly trying to outgrow her shy nature and become something more than she is?

In this coming-of-age drama, we explore Agnes’ heartbreak, hopes and dreams as she overcomes the crushing grief of losing a loved one and reinvents herself like no other.

Also known as En del av dig and with a runtime of 99 minutes, the movie is all set to release on May 31, 2024, at 12.30 PM IST.
