Why did the gangsters mistake Toom’s room?

The door number in Toom’s room, the number 6, is not fixed on the door well. Thus, the slightest movement causes it to fall down, making it look like a 9. The gangsters were supposed to attempt delivery at room 9, and they mistake Toom’s room number 6 as a 9 and make the mistake that ends up in everyone’s death.

Was Toom able to run away with the money that she got?

When the series starts, Toom, after having lost her job, gets a package delivered to her doorstep. When she takes it inside, she is shocked to find it full of cash. At first, confused and sceptical, she keeps it outside, but later on, she decides to keep the cash, realising that she doesn’t have any job to fall back on with her.

Unfortunately, the cash belongs to a dangerous gang, and the gangsters soon realise the error in their ways and arrive at her doorstep to fetch it back. Although Toom tries to deny having the cash, it is discovered when the men search her house and find it. They beat Toom up badly, and she fights back to save her life. She is able to get rid of the gangsters but soon realises that she has two dead bodies in her hands.

In the end, Toom, tired of the dead bodies around her, gets rid of the cash in the swamp and goes on to test her fate out in the world and live with her guilt.

Who all died in the end?

Everyone else is dead in the series other than Toom – all the gangsters, the police officer Jon (who turns out to be a pervert) and everyone involved with Tud Tsunami as well. In the end, Fon also died.

Why did Toom keep on murdering everyone?

After the first two murders, Toom decided to give herself up to the police. However, she had cold feet in the end and decided to get rid of the bodies instead. That was, though, her biggest fault – since she went back home, the other gangsters found her, they got murdered, Jon got caught in the crossfire and died, and lastly, her friend Fon also died in the end.

Why did Fon get caught up in the middle of this mess?

Toom caught Fon unconscious in her house after the latter tried to commit suicide. She is able to save her after taking her to the hospital. However, on her way to dispose of the bodies in Toom’s house, Fon learns about what her friend has been up to. Although she is initially hesitant, she accepts her friend’s misdeeds later on and accompanies Toom to get her fake passport from the gangster’s house. Unfortunately for her, one of the gangster’s henchmen catches Toom at gunpoint and shoots Fon when she rushes in at the scene.

How do Jon and Sompan get back to life?

Throughout the series, we see how everyone who is dying goes to sort of a middle space between the living and dead from where they are removed from existence. Jon and Sompan are sent there at the same time since they had died together. However, Jon refuses to accept his death, disposes of the lady at the desk and runs away back to the life of the living. Sompan comes up after him and helps the lady up again, and she grants him to go back to living for as long as he wants – he chooses to stay alive till the Thai team wins the World Cup.

Why wasn’t Fon allowed to pass through the barrier of the living and the dead?

After Fon committed suicide, she, too, went to the lady at the desk but was denied entry because her slot wasn’t booked – it wasn’t her time to die yet. Thus, the doctors were able to bring her back to life… only for her to be shot to death two scenes later!
