The highly anticipated 60th Baeksang Arts Awards 2024 Nominations have been officially unveiled today, April 8, 2024. This year’s lineup of nominees is nothing short of spectacular, showcasing a diverse and impressive array of talent. Renowned for their prestige and significance in South Korea, the Baeksang Arts Awards honour excellence in television, OTT programs, and films.
Candidates were meticulously selected from productions that aired or were released between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024. In the case of series, eligibility criteria required programs to have aired at least one-third of their episodes by March 31. Additionally, the category of Best New Actor welcomed nominees who have appeared in no more than three productions. Notably, productions previously excluded due to their release timing have been reconsidered and included in this year’s nomination pool.
The prestigious event, commonly referred to as the 제60회 백상예술대상, is set to unfold at COEX on May 7th, commencing at 5 p.m. KST, with a live broadcast on JTBC. Renowned for its discerning selection process, this ceremony stands as a beacon for excellence in the realms of film, television, and theatre. Only the most outstanding works and talents earn the privilege of gracing its illustrious stage.
