The 51st Korean Broadcasting Awards Winners List: My Dearest and Revenant Shine Among Top Honours

The 51st Korean Broadcasting Awards recently honoured some of the finest talents in the Korean entertainment industry. This year’s ceremony, held at the KBS Hall in Seoul, brought together top actors, producers, and entertainers who have significantly contributed to television and radio broadcasting. The annual event, organized by the Korean Broadcasters Association, celebrated exceptional achievements across various categories, from drama and variety shows to individual accolades.

One of the highlights of the evening was the fierce competition in the Best Drama category. MBC’s “My Dearest” and SBS’s “Revenant” emerged as joint winners, both shows having captivated audiences with their compelling storylines and outstanding performances. “My Dearest,” a historical drama set in the Joseon era, and “Revenant,” a supernatural thriller, each brought unique flavors to the table, showcasing the diversity of storytelling in Korean dramas. In the realm of variety shows, KBS’s “Golden Girls” and MBC’s “Adventure by Accident 2” took home the Best Variety award, demonstrating the broad appeal of reality-based content. “Adventure by Accident 2,” a popular travel-reality series, also saw its producer Kim Ji-woo awarded Best Producer for his work on both seasons two and three.
