Bring It On, Ghost (2016)

She comes across a young exorcist and pairs up with him to help with his ghost-hunting activities, which result in something deeper between the two. The series is charming and emotionally resonant, and the two characters bring a lot of depth to their roles. This one isn’t your typical horror show and is a light-hearted and fun watch with some thought-provoking sequences that linger long after the series is over.
The Uncanny Counter (2020–2023)

Based on a webtoon, this thriller follows a team of beings, known as Counters, who have supernatural powers and hunt evil spirits. The drama is absolutely thrilling, and although not a traditional horror-romance series, it is a must-watch thanks to its fantastic pacing, themes of justice and revenge and the emotional resonance in the story. There’s a surprising warm sweetness in the heart of this action drama, and it will leave you engaged throughout.
My Demon (2023)

Cast: Kim Yoo-jung, Song Kang, Lee Sang-yi, Kim Hae-sook
A fan-favourite when it released, Kim Yoo-jung and Song Kang’s drama blends deep lust and thrilling horror elements so well that it left most viewers breathless after every episode! The series follows the unique dynamic between an heiress and a 200-year-old devil who get into a contract marriage and eventually fall in love. The chemistry between the leads is what left fans wanting more, while the charm and depth of the story kept everyone there. The fast-paced plot mixed with incredible chemistry makes this a fantastic watch for most viewers.
