Netflix’s Vaashi might just be another sleeper hit with the amount of love it is getting. The film starring Tovino Thomas and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles is a courtroom that will engage you and keep you hooked until the end. It is directed by Vishnu G. Raghavi, and the screenplay for the film is written by Janiz Chacko Simon and Raghavi himself.
Produced by G Suresh Kumar along with Menaka Suresh and Revathy Suresh, the other cast members for the film include Kottayam Ramesh, Maya Menon, Baiju Santhosh, Rony David Raj, Anu Mohan and Anagha Narayanan. The movie has a runtime of 123 minutes and deals with two lawyers, who are also spouses at the opposing end of a case dealing with sexual assault.

The film stars Suriya, Lijomol Jose and Manikandan in the lead roles along with a supporting cast that includes Joshika Maya, Rajisha Vijayan, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Guru Somasundaram, Tamizh amongst others.

Nerkonda Paarvai (2019)
A remake of the 2016 release Pink, this courtroom drama is one interesting watch. Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor, the film stars Ajith Kumar, Shraddha Srinath, Abhirami Venkatachalam and Andrea Tariang in major roles.

The film is available on Zee5. The plot for the film reads: “Meera refuses Adhik’s untoward advances at a party and ends up hurting him in self-defence. In an attempt to defame her and get his revenge, Adhik files an FIR against Meera and her friends terming them as sex workers. It is now upon defence lawyer Bharath to fight for the girls’ honour, and get their names cleared.”
Naandhi (2021)
A critical as well as commercial success, Naandhi is a film that deserves all the love it gets and more. This crime courtroom drama is sensational and tragic in its own ways. It is the directorial debut of filmmaker Vijay Kanakamedala and is produced by Satish Varma. The film stars Allari Naresh and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in lead roles with Priyadarshi, Harish Uthaman Vinay Varma, and Praveen as the supporting cast.
IMDb’s description for the film reads: “Revolving around undertrial prisoners who languish in jails while awaiting a judgement, the movie follows Surya Prakash who gets caught in a similar situation while being on trial for the murder of a powerful man.”
