What may be confused as an event corresponding to the year 2024, is in fact the 2023 Circle Chart Music Awards ceremony (써클차트 뮤직 어워드) since the upcoming event will be recognising the efforts that went into producing musical releases recorded from December 1, 2022, to November 30, 2023. To be held on January 10, 2024 (Wednesday) at Busan Exhibition and Convention Centre (BEXCO) in Busan, the 13th edition of the annual series would’ve otherwise been recognised as the Gaon Chart Music Awards 2023 had it not been rebranded to Circle Chart in 2022. Coming together onstage as the main MCs of this year’s show are Super Junior’s Leeteuk, STAYC’s Sieun and ZEROBASEONE’s Seok Matthew.
The collaborative union of Korea Music Content Association (KMCA), SPOTV and Circle Chart is responsible for helming the event. The artists recognised as the illustrious nominees for their past year’s contributions will be judged on the basis of their digital scores, physical album sales and more criteria. In addition to the MCs trio, the stellar gathering of the following artists on January 10 in Busan has been confirmed by the CCMAs. The lineup welcomes AKMU, KISS OF LIFE, NCT DREAM, STAYC, RIIZE, NiziU, imase, ZEROBASEONE, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, Hwasa, Lee Chan-won, Parc Jae-jung and Kyungseo.

Where to Watch Circle Chart Music Awards 2023
Expected to commence at 7 PM KST, the show’s official broadcasting partners are yet to be known. However, last year’s ceremony was livestreamed on idolplus, and Rock Entertainment (subscription needed) aired it across Southeast Asian nations. For this year too, it seems that at least the Rock Entertainment platform is onboard, as its website has already listed the event’s live coverage as scheduled for January 10, Wednesday, 6PM (GMT+8), in addition to the encore/replay’s broadcast streaming on January 11 Thursday, 6:30PM (GMT+8).
EDITED: Live broadcast will be covered by SPOTV and STATV, whereas 1theK channel will be airing it online.
Moreover, a segment of last year’s show and other exclusive performance videos were later also uploaded online on the YouTube channel, @CIRCLECHART. Fans can expect something similar happening this year too. (Updates will be edited if and when new announcements come in)
