2 Baddies MV Teaser: NCT 127 Present their Quirky Neo Seoul Challenge to Fans

Ever since the news of their upcoming fourth album 2 Baddies was broken out by NCT 127, the South Korean band had also put the Neo Seoul Challenge into motion. With the release of today’s MV teaser, they’ve only further consolidated the same. The video on their official YouTube channel itself divides its duration into chapters, with the middle bit showing the moves of the dance challenge forwarded by the group.

Several reels have also been posted on their official Instagram profile to pique the interest of the fans for this new comeback of the K-pop act. Hashtags like #NCT127Challenge and #NeoSeoulChallenge have caught on quite the momentum as the band hopes for their fandom to join them in their catchy choreography routine.

The much-anticipated MV teaser portrays the SM Entertainment boy group in their usual offbeat element, as each of the members stands out in their own way throughout the duration of the 36 seconds long video. While the leader of the group, Taeyong, is seen sporting platinum hair color, the ‘maknae’ of the group, i.e. the youngest member, Haechan flaunts a vibrant red head of hair and Yuta has gone for a blond look.

Song’s hook as heard in the refraining bit of the teaser, “2 Baddies 2 Baddies, One Porsche” is instantly captured in your memory while a huge car cutout appears at the top. It goes in sync with the promotional poster of the album, wherein we see all nine members standing beside a blue car with an enormous length of tire marks covering the bottom.

As far as the music is concerned, it falls in line with the band’s previous releases like Kick It, which garnered a lot of attention and pulled in crowds worth of new fans to their territory. They follow the same pattern for the new title track of their album releasing this week. Most people acquainted with their brand associate the category of “noise music” as their patent, and well, the group has always accepted it as a positive remark and stayed true to their original soundscape.

All the nine members – Taeyong, Taeil, Johnny, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, Mark, and Haechan – have spoken at great lengths about how much they’re fond of the new track in their promotional series Fill It Up. Each one of them has faith in this release and they hope to reach greater heights and break further records with the upcoming album that goes by the same name i.e. 2 Baddies.
