At first, we see the story of Ji Hye, a high school girl. She has a crush on her classmate Sang Min (Jo In Sung). However, she later decided to give up this love.

However, one day while cleaning the house, Ji Hye found a diary that reveals the story of her mother Joo Hee. While still a student, Joo Hee visits the countryside and meets Joon Ha (Cho Seung Woo). The two quickly fell in love with each other. However, the two were forced to break up due to their families. Her mother’s story made Ji Hye reconsider her decision & follow her heart.

Divorce Attorney Shin

It (신성한, 이혼) is a Korean courtroom drama series, co-directed by Lee Jae-hoon and Lim Jun-hyuk. The screenplay is written by Yoo Young-ah and it has been adapted from the webtoon of the same name by Kang Tae-kyung, which was published from 10 September 2019 to 31 August 2021 by Kakao. Starring Cho Seung-woo, Han Hye-jin, Kim Sung-kyun and Jung Moon-sung.

The K-drama follows Shin Sung-han who majored in piano and became a professor at a music university in Germany. However, something tragic happens and he is urged to come back to South Korea and starts working on becoming a lawyer. And not just any lawyer but especially a divorce lawyer, due to the reasons that are related to the tragedy. He is also joined by his childhood friends – Jang Hyeong-geun and Jo Jeong-sik who are always looking out for each other.

Tazza: The High Rollers

Tazza: The High Rollers is based on Huh Young-man and Kim Se-yeong’s manhwa (comic) of the same name. It follows the story of a man named Kim gon, who after losing money while gambling, begins training in the art of trickery under one of the best gamblers in the country, Mr Pyeong.

He promises to leave it after winning all the lost money back but where money & power is involved, it’s hard to let go of – leading to many more life-threatening situations. The lead cast of the film includes Cho Seung-woo, Kim Hye-soo, Yoo Hae-jin and Baek Yoon-sik.

Life

This medical drama stars Lee Dong-wook, Cho Seung-woo, Won Jin-ah, Lee Kyu-hyung, Yoo Jae-myung and Moon So-ri. In the story, the beliefs of those who want to protect and those who want to change collide. Against the backdrop of Sangguk University Hospital, it confronts the topic of whether to value profit or life.

Ye Jin-woo a hardworking doctor who always puts his work and patients first starts to collide with the new director of the hospital, Goo Seung-hyo who puts power and money first. Life showcases how in front of capitalism, the hospitals that should prioritize life, could no longer avoid profit-making practices at the cost of human life.

Stranger stars Cho Seung-woo, Bae Doona, Jeon Hye-jin, Choi Mu-sung and others in this high-tension legal drama. With two seasons in total, the story follows a prosecutor who has lost the ability to feel empathy and teams up with a charismatic Police Lieutenant Han Yeo-jin to tackle the corruption and unravel the mystery behind the murder. This was the first role where he took on the character of an attorney but had an absolutely different personality from Divorce Attorney Shin.

Go Go 70s

Starring Cho Seung-woo, Shin Min-a, Cha Seung-woo, Song Kyung-ho, Lee Sung-min and others, it’s a musical drama film which tends to protest against the oppressive military dictatorship of the 70s. In the film, vocalist Sang-kyu and guitarist Man-sik form the indie rock band ‘The Devils’ with four other members.

They soon become a sensation after leaving a strong impression in a rock band contest but their popularity soon starts to dissipate as a member dies in a club fire & the clubs are forced to shut down due to military oppression. To re-live their best moments for the last time, they plan a concert that might change everything.

Inside Men is based on the webtoon The Insiders by author Yoon Tae Ho. Seung-woo plays the role of an aspiring prosecutor Woo Jang-hoon. During the investigation of political and business tycoons, Jang-hoon shakes hands with Ahn Sang Goo (played by Lee Byung Hun), a henchman of the political world. On one hand, Jang-hoon is ambitious, Sang Goo is out for revenge but in the end who will pay the price?

The King’s Doctor

If you ever wondered how the actor will look in a period drama, then this is your answer. Starring Seung-woo, Lee Yo-won, Lee Sang-woo, Yoo Seon, Son Chang-min and others, with about 50 episodes in total, the story revolves around Baek Gwang-hyun who starts his career as a veterinary, especially for horses.

Eventually works his way up to become a famous veterinarian and gets appointed to the royal palace and honoured with the distinction of being the king’s personal doctor. He was the first Oriental medicine doctor who practised surgical treatments in the field of Oriental medicine and we witness the story of starting with a humble background and reaching a high status, all through his skills.
