Who is He Who Remains?

In our article, we will also tell you what He Who Remains’ connection to Kang is. He Who Remains lives at Citadel at the End of Time. He is a scientist from Earth who belongs to the 31st century. He discovered that there are universes stacked on top of his own. His other versions also discovered the same, and they all met each other.  They all decided to live in peace and help each other out. However, one of the variants saw this as an opportunity to conquer, and many such evil variants appeared. There was a multiverse war which ended by He Who Remains. Hence, he created the TVA not to let evil variants of himself cause disruption again.

In Loki Episode 6, when he talks about the variant who wanted to conquer, it makes us think of no one else but Kang The Conqueror. As Jonathan Majors will play Kang in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, it’s only apt that he’s the next bit MCU villain. In the last episode of Loki, Sylvie kills the good variant of He Who Remains and opens many branches that will lead to a Multiverse war. The evil variants will be awakened, and no one knows what horror they will unleash upon everyone. We don’t know which variants are evil, but Loki has landed in a TVA version where there’s a statue of Kang The Conqueror

Marvel explains that He Who Remains powers included being the last director of TVA. He used to guard the Time-Keepers and the sacred timeline from evil variants of all kinds. He can also temporarily weaken powerful beings like Asgardians of their strength.
In Loki season 2, we might meet the evil variants of Jonathan Majors’ Kang The Conqueror. It will be exciting to see how the story of another big MCU villain unfolds.
