The Calling is an upcoming investigative drama series releasing on Peacock this week. The series is created and written by David E. Kelley and Barry Levinson. The drama series is based on the book The Missing File by Dror Mishani. The show is produced by David E. Kelley, Matthew Tinker, Peter Traugott, Alon Shrutzman, Avi Nir, and Karni Ziv. This will be a 10-episode series.
The series will focus on NYPD Detective Avraham, a man who is very spiritual and adheres to a set of religious values. The inquiry into a missing youngster forces Avraham to doubt his own humanity.
The Calling Cast
The cast of this series includes Jeff Wilbusch in the lead role of NYPD Detective Avraham. The series also has Juliana Canfield playing the character of Janine Harris, Karen Robinson portraying Captain Kathleen Davies, and Michael Mosley as Detective Earl Malzone.

The Calling Plot
The official synopsis of the show reads, “Guided by a deep sense of spirituality and religious principles, NYPD Detective Avraham Avraham is left to question his own humanity when a routine investigation turns upside down.”
The protagonist of this show is NYPD Detective Avraham (Jeff Wilbusch) whose trust in mankind serves as his superpower in revealing the truth, which he also employs in his investigation. At the centre of the series is the missing case of a young boy, which leads Detective Avraham to question his own humanity.
The hunt for this missing kid takes the detective to the breaking point. Janine Harris (Juliana Canfield) joins this case with Avraham as she herself tries to figure out Avraham.
