What If Trailer: Get Ready For Multiverse of Unlimited Possibilities!

Today, Marvel Entertainment dropped the What If trailer on YouTube, and it is here to confuse and excite you. The animated series is MCU’s one of the much-awaited Phase 4 projects. The series is everything that Marvel fans have been assuming about with their hundreds of theories!

The trailer starts with how MCU started in 2008 – Tony Stark getting attacked in Afghanistan. But everything after that is different because the Marvel universe is full of possibilities. There’s even a text in between the trailer that reads – “Enter the multiverse of infinite possibilites”.

In Marvel’s What If trailer, we see that late actor Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa is Star-Lord. Chris Pratt, in live-action movies, plays the superhero. Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) is Captain America, aka Captain Carter; the entire scenario of OG Avengers is different in the series.

For Disney Plus’ What If…? series, many Marvel actors have come together. Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Michael B Jordon, Sebastian Stan, Samuel L Jackson, Michael Douglas, Josh Brolin and several others have lent the voice to their respective characters.

The official YouTube description for the What If trailer reads, “Enter the multiverse of unlimited possibilities. Marvel Studios’ first animated series What If…?, starts streaming August 11 with new episodes Wednesdays on Disney+.”

What If…? season 1 will have ten episodes, and it will release on August 11, 2021, on Disney+ Hotstar. The second season is already in development. Along with the trailer, Marvel also dropped a new poster. In the poster, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is wearing Doctor Strange Cloak of Levitation. Gamora is holding Thanos’ double-edged sword.

Earlier, Marvel President Kevin Feige told Cinemabland about the series, “It is incredibly liberating, it is an amazing opportunity we have. Disney+ has sent a wave of creativity through Marvel Studios in a really great way. That show, as I said, is going to focus on events you think you know everything about from the MCU, and when you change one thing here or there, how everything is different. So you will see primarily characters you’ve met before but, again, in entirely different ways.”
