Ahead of What If Episode 8, Fans Discuss Age of Ultron

Marvel revealed that their next What If episode will feature Ultron. We first met the AI supervillain in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). As a peacekeeping program, the AI wanted to kill Avengers as he saw them as a threat to the world. Actor James Spader has voiced the villain in the MCU film.

In What If Episode 8, we will be taken to a universe where Ultron wins. Yesterday, Marvel shared a promo and revealed the plot of the upcoming episode. They tweeted, “What If… Ultron Won? Discover the answer to the question in the eighth episode of Marvel Studios’ #WhatIf, streaming tomorrow on @DisneyPlus”.

A lot of fans are quite excited to watch the episode that will feature today. At the end of Episode 7, we saw a terrifying-looking Ultron with 6 infinity stones. So the build-up for the plot was quite exciting.

Ahead of the episode’s release, fans are sharing their thoughts on it. One person wrote, “The actual title is : What if Zack Snyder directed Age of Ultron”. “Ultron was so wasted in “Age Of Ultron” I really hope they make him justice in this show and maybe with the whole multiverse thing he can return to the MCU,” tweeted another fan.

Bryan Andrews has directed the episode, which will release on Disney+ at 12:30 pm (IST).

Meanwhile, earlier, Kevin Feige confirmed that there would be a season 2 of the animated show. He told Screenrant, “That’s the fun thing about having the What If…? series now; we can explore questions just like that. And I will say, just as season 1 is tapping into films and storylines from the MCU that you’ve seen up to this point, season 2 will definitely incorporate movies from Phase 4.”
