Upload Season 2: Everything You Need to Know About Amazon Prime’s Sci-Fi Series

Upload Season 2 is finally coming to our screens and, we cannot hold back our excitement for the return of Amazon Prime Video’s one of the best science fiction comedies ever. The first season of the show had premiered back on May 1, 2020, and, was renewed for a second season almost instantly given it became such a hit within the populace. Season two is now set to make its debut almost after two years of being greenlit.

Upload is the brainchild of creator Greg Daniels, who has given us classics over the years that include The Office US, Parks and Recreation, Netflix’s Space Force and more. Daniels also serves as the executive producer of the show alongside Howard Klein. Produced by Deedle-Dee Productions, 3 Arts Entertainment, Reunion Pacific Entertainment, Baral-Waley Productions and Amazon Studios, the series runs on a single-camera set-up and, has Joseph Stephens roped in as the composer. Before season two hits the screen, let us have a quick look at some details.

Upload Season 2 Cast

The main cast features Robbie Amell as Nathan Brown, who is essentially the protagonist of the story along with Andy Allo as Nora Antony, Allegra Edwards as Ingrid Kannerman, Zainab Johnson as Aleesha and, Kevin Bigley as Luke. Josh Banday, who plays the role of Ivan returns to season two not as a recurring cast member but, the main participant.

Upload Season 2 Plot/Synopsis

Amazon Prime Video’s description for the series’ second instalment reads: “In this futuristic satire, people can have their consciousness uploaded to a luxurious digital afterlife. This season, customer service “angel” Nora has gone off the grid into the world of a tech-resistant group leaving Nathan in Lakeview where he awkwardly settles in with his ex, Ingrid, who’s unexpectedly uploaded for him.”

Upload Season 2 will arrive on Amazon Prime Video on March 11, 2022. Each episode has a running time of 20-45 minutes, with seven episodes in total.
