Typhoon Family Episode 15 Recap

The episode begins with all the members of Typhoon Company celebrating their win, while Tae-poong is thinking about the promissory note. His employees still do not know that he will have to leave if they do not find the note, so they do not take this as seriously as they should. On the other hand, Bae comes in rushing, crying that his father is planning to kill himself. Tae-poong goes there himself to assess the situation and finds out.

Tae-poong then uses the fire escape ladder while Bae goes to call for help. Tae-poong finds out that Bae’s father got a demand notice according to which he will have to pay back 30 million won within two days, and apparently, he can’t do that. His employees even pitched in to save him, and as he’s embarrassed and wishes not to take others’ money, he plans to die. Tae-poong finally convinces Bae’s father not to get himself like that.

Finally, we see that Hyeon-jun’s father is not dead, and he is keeping his father alive in the shipping container. He demands to know what’s going on between his father and Tae-poong, but he refuses to say anything. However, Hyeong-jun manages to find the contract between them, as it was in his pocket. On the other hand, Tae-poong goes to Beak’s father’s office and acquires a product that works as an automated security camera. He sees the potential in the product and decides to trade it.

Mi-ho is also suffering in her own way, as Nam-mo told her not to contact him anymore. He thought that she was cheating on him, but actually, she asked her ex-boyfriend to sign Nam-mo up for a music album. Now he finally finds out about this. Back at the office, Hyeong-jun barges in and demands that Tae-poong remove himself from the office premises. Thankfully, Tae-poong manages to sign the last deal before everything gets taken away, including his position.

Everyone else in his office did not like this fact at all, and they all cried after Tae-poong left, but there was nothing that he could do about it. Still, all hope is not lost as Tae-poong goes to Bae’s father’s company and works there. But even then, he could not save the company from going bankrupt, as before Bae’s father could submit the money to the bank, the bank closed on them.

Tae-poong tries his best to handle the situation properly, but one problem after another comes his way. Finally, they decide to go into Hyeong-jun’s office and search for clues. There, they see Tae-poong’s father’s nameplate, and they steal it. After a chase with the security guards, they finally leave the office, and a startling revelation comes their way. They finally get their hands on the promissory note.

I absolutely loved today’s episode, and I like the fact that we’re finally seeing some hope. Now, I just want every character to be happy from now on because we have seen far too many sad things. This was genuinely a fun ride and a delightful watch until the end.
