Twenty Five Twenty One: A Sneak Peek Into Episode 1 Starring Kim Tae-ri and Nam Joo-hyuk

Twenty Five Twenty One is an upcoming Korean series published by Netflix. Directed by Jung Ji-Hyun with the leading cast including Kim Tae-Ri, Nam Joo-hyuk, Bona and Lee Joo-Myung.  The series shows us the romantic lives of five characters in the span of the year 1998 to 2021. Netflix describes the series Twenty Five Twenty One in their description as “In a time when dreams seem out of reach, a teen fencer pursues big ambitions and meets a hardworking young man who seeks to rebuild his life.”

The clip of Twenty Five Twenty One released by tvN drama on Twitter shows us the chemistry between the two lead characters develop when Jin asked Hee Do’s name and their cute story starts to unfold.

In Twenty Five Twenty One, Hee Do played by Kim Tae Ri, a fencer enthusiast, found herself facing difficulties in an unequal deal when she was trying to get serious about the sport. Jin played by Nam Joo Hyuk is the eldest son of his family who has been gravely affected by the financial crisis in South Korea in the late 90s. He dreamt of being a successful reporter but the situation led him to work at a book store.

Twenty Five Twenty One Episode 1 Plot/ Synopsys:

The first episode of Twenty Five Twenty One, begins with Hee Do admiring the work of a fellow fencer. She dreams of becoming like her and visits to her practice session every Saturday. But reality crashes when the crisis hit and their national fencing team gets disbanded.

Due to this Hee Do gets flustered when a newspaper comes flying and she faces Jin. Hee Do tries to create a ruckus to get noticed. But she decides to never give up and in a club encounters Jin. They had a somewhat heated exchange of words and ultimately learn each other’s names.

Twenty Five Twenty One is slated to release on Netflix also and being originally premiered on February 12, 2022, and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 21:00 (KST).
