The plot revolves around Tore, a young man tightly bound to his father, their bond evident in their shared home and unbreakable connection. However, Tore’s father longs for him to explore the wide world and gently urges him to venture beyond their familiar surroundings. Unfortunately, Tore’s world shatters when his father tragically loses his life in a garbage truck accident. Wrestling with his emotions, he turns to a world of alcohol, sex, and drugs, descending into a dangerous lifestyle. Amidst the chaos, he finds solace in the unwavering support of his friend Linn and other companions, who strive to guide him towards a more positive path.

Did Tore and Erik End Up Together?
Tore was smitten with Erik, who had recently begun working at Gunvor’s flower shop. Tore desired to ask Erik out, but he felt uneasy about directly approaching him, and Erik occasionally appeared somewhat uninterested. Erik was grappling with personal challenges, which explained his occasional preoccupation. He yearned to start a family, but his partner was uncertain, and Erik had made it clear that if they couldn’t align on this, he wouldn’t want to continue the relationship. Erik gave Tore a driving lesson, and both knew it was just a pretext to spend time together.
Erik and Tore became intimate when, unexpectedly, his former partner showed up at his house, revealing the complexities in his life. While Erik was a good person, things didn’t pan out between him and Tore as they were in very different stages of their lives. Erik apologized to him and ended things with him, as it was clear that he was not in love. Tore was just a rebound for him, and he didn’t want that for his life. If they had chosen to pursue the relationship, it would have been for the wrong reasons.

Did Tore Effectively Come to Terms With His Past?
Tore attempted various means to escape his own emotions, yet that sorrow remained steadfast. He entrusted his faithful companion, his dog MJ, to another family and severed ties with Linn completely. He was pushing people away, hurtling toward self-destruction. Fortunately, amidst his flight, he encountered some benevolent souls who, in a way, jolted him into realizing that his actions were amiss. At the boat club, he crossed paths with Shady Meat and Lo, forging close bonds with them.
One day, Linn had feigned her own demise, aiming to make him experience the terror she felt when he had leapt from his balcony under the influence. Panic surged through him upon discovering Linn prone on the floor. The thought of losing another person dear to him unhinged him completely. Infuriated by Linn’s ploy, he stormed out. Tore confided in Shady Meat and Lo about Linn’s alleged homophobia, leading them to pelt her window with eggs. In the aftermath, Shady Meat discerned his deception and implored him not to entangle them in his personal struggles.
Upon learning he could not be with Erik, Tore spiralled into despair. He came to terms with the injustice he had wrought upon those who had tried to help him. Adrift, he once again turned to Shady Meat, who performed an unexpected act that offered a glimmer of hope in his desolate life. She urged him to take the stage at the boat club, an experience that unexpectedly left a positive imprint on him. Lost in his grief, he was initially oblivious to the impact of his performance, but now he was determined to set things right.

Approaching Linn, he said that he wanted to get his dog back, he had previously asked the family caring for MJ to return the dog, but they had refused. So, with Linn as a diversion, he slipped through their back door and reclaimed MJ. This marked perhaps the first positive stride he had taken since his father’s passing. He ceased his resistance, recognizing that he must confront his trauma and seek a resolution. He resolved to prioritize his mental well-being and, for the first time in a long while, entered his father’s room, letting tears flow freely.
We earnestly hope that Tore will seek the guidance of a professional, avoiding the self-destructive path and, most importantly, never again pushing away individuals like Linn, who stood by him unwaveringly.
