Spider-Man: No Way Home was released last week and received great reviews from fans and critics. Tom Holland’s third solo MCU outing has opened the gates of the multiverse on the big screen. A lot is being discussed about the comeback of villains and some secret characters’ cameo. Marvel and the actors did a good job of lying to everyone for at least a year.
So far, it can be assumed that many die-hard Marvel and Spidey fans have already watched No Way Home. They cheered, laughed, cried and clapped seeing the secret characters. The cameos that Marvel kept a secret were of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
Anyone who has seen the movie in theatre knows how fans have reacted to these cameos. But what was Tom Holland’s reaction/experience of working with Charlie, Tobey and Andrew? Well, the actor and co-star Zendaya have finally opened up. In an interaction with Marvel dot com, both the actors have shared their thoughts.
Tom said that working with Charlie was fun, and they had an interesting scene with no real superhero stuff. Zendaya was watching the entire sequence off camera. The actors called Tobey funny and how they cracked the ‘dad’ jokes. Tom reveals that he was nervous and stressed on the first day. Zendaya reveals that she and Jacob Batalon felt like Tom’s parents when he had to first shoot with Tobey.
While Tobey and Tom got their third Spider-Man films, fans are super happy for Andrew Garfield. Well, just like fans, even Tom is happy for the Tick Tick Boom star. About Garfield, the actor said, “Andrew Garfield, the legend himself. He’s such a lovely guy. I think this film was his way of making peace with Spider-Man It was such a privilege to work with him. I know that it meant a lot to him.”
Well, we can’t wait for Marvel or the actors to officially announce these surprise cameos soon. Zendaya and Tom Holland also share their experience working with Benedict Cumberbatch, Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe and others.
