Spider-Man: No Way Home proved to be one of the biggest MCU films of 2021. Starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei and Benedict Cumberbatch, the film also brought back old Spideys Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. The three men in the Spider-Man suit and Peter Parker treated fans with enough love, laughter and action sequences on screen.
It has been more than a month since the film was released. But many fans still have a tough time actually believing that they saw three generations of Spider-Man coming together on the big screen. Many wanted Tobey, Andrew and Tom to interview together and share their experiences. Well, that has now happened.
No Way Home’s Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield have got candid in their interview with Pete Hammond. Andrew Garfield said that Tobey and him not only felt welcomed but were given permission to play and find their way into being of service for Tom’s story as Peter Parker. He called it a joyful experience and collaborative efforts of everyone who was a part of which made the film beautiful.
Tom agreed with the Tick Tick Boom actor’s claim of it being a collaborative effort. He also praised Andrew for suggesting the ‘pointing Spideys meme’ moment. Holland says, “From day one, it was a roller coaster ride. As you said, Andrew, it was so collaborative; it was so playful from you cracking Tobey’s back to you coming up with the idea of pointing out us like (meme). It was all stuff that we came up with on the day. It was just a lot of fun to play with three guys in Spider-Man suits. It was a strange experience but the one I will never forget.”
