The Sound of Magic: All to Know About Netflix’s Upcoming Korean Drama

It’s a new month, and Netflix has a good line-up of shows and movies that will drop every alternate day. In the last 2 years, the fans of Korean shows/movies have grown a lot, and the digital platform also has a major role to play. In May, Kdrama fans will be treated to The Sound of Magic; a magical drama packed with a lot of emotions and laughter. The Korean title for the web series is ‘Annarasumanara’.

After the success of Squid Game, All of Us Are Dead, Hometown Cha Cha Cha, Business Proposal and many others, Netflix decided to touch upon another interesting genre. The fantasy musical drama was written by Kim Min-jeong and helmed by Kim Seong-yoon. So if you are curious or planning to watch the show, you need to know the basic details.

The Sound of Magic Cast

The star cast includes everyone’s favourite Healer, Ji Chang-wook as Lee Eul, Choi Sung-eun as Yoon Ah-yi, Nam Da-reum as young Lee Eul, Hwang In-youp as Na Il-deung. The supporting cast includes Lee Sang-hwa, Hong Seo-hee, Yoo Jae-myung, Ji Hye-won, and Kim Bo-yoon.

The Sound of Magic Synopsis

The synopsis reads – A magician living in an abandoned theme park makes troubles disappear, and hope reappears for a disenchanted teen enduring harsh realities.

The Sound of Magic is a moving music drama about Yoon Ah-yi, a normal high school student who has wanted to be a magician since childhood. She aspired to grow as an adult quickly, only to realise her ambition. Then she meets Lee Eul, an adult magician who wants to stop time and stay a child. Her life changes when she meets him and starts to pursue her goal seriously.
