The episode begins with Kate using Matrina’s access key to enter the boulder/farm late at night. Two Messengers are assigned cleaning duty at the facility. Kate hides inside one of the vents as she hears their voices. Unfortunately, the Messengers discover an intruder and alert Mr Curtain of the situation. Mr Curtain dispatches his staff to find who has entered the facility.

Mr Benedict is concerned about Milligan at Stonewall since he cannot see his vehicle in the sea. He believes Milligan is dead, but Number Two and Rhonda reassure him that he is not. Meanwhile, Kate escapes the facility, but she has nowhere to go while people on both sides search for her. There’s a steep slope in front of her that leads to the sea. She has no choice but to descend and cling to the valley walls for support.

The Mysterious Benedict Society Episode 7 Recap: Still from the episode

In The Mysterious Benedict Society Episode 7, it’s a new day. Reynie and Constance are upset with Sticky for sleeping all night while they were looking for Kate.   They remind him once more that the Whisperer has changed him. When the duo suggests that he accompany them searching for Kate, he reminds them that if everyone skips breakfast, Mr Curtain will become suspicious. Mr Curtain, on the other hand, is suspicious of Reynie and feels he was the one who entered the facility. When S.Q. tells him that he took Reynie to the forest, he loses his temper.

Kate spends the entire night clutching to the rock’s walls. She pushes herself up when Mr Curtain’s workers exit the premises. Milligan, thankfully, arrives on time and helps her. It’s good to know he’s still alive. He informs Kate about Mr Benedict’s decision to call off the mission and bring all the four kids back by tonight. Ms Perumal visits Mr Benedict at Stonewall, apologising for doubting him. She also advises him against cancelling the mission. She uses the Phoenix bird to deliver a letter to Reynie.

Kate informs Reynie, Sticky, and Constance about Mr Benedict’s decision to cancel the mission. Mr Curtain summons Reynie to his office and interrogates him about his plans and whereabouts from the previous night. One of Mr Curtain’s men suddenly informs him that it was a girl, not Reynie, who entered the facility last night. Martina is the girl whose name is dragged into the mess since her access card was used. When Kate learns of this, she feels awful for having betrayed Martina.

SQ, Mr Curtain’s adopted son, finds Ms Perumal’s letter for Reynie. SQ confronts Reynie and expresses his anger as his father is being held responsible for the Emergency. He warns Reynie that he will tell his father everything. Reynie’s apologises to SQ for lying to him. He also says that everything written about his father is the absolute truth as Mr Curtain wants to control people’s minds. SQ, who does not know his past, keeps his father in the dark and gives the letter to Reynie.

Two Messengers are on their lookout duty along the shore in the next scene of The Mysterious Benedict Society Episode 7. They notice Mr Benedict’s Stonehouse through their binoculars. Both are perplexed to see a man who looks like Mr Curtain but has poor fashion sense. They immediately inform about the same, Mr Curtain. Mr Curtain is upset with the information and sends his men to Stonehouse. Mr Benedict and others, on the other hand, have already managed to flee the Stonehouse. Kate helps Martina with food supplies and other required stuff as the latter is about to get punished.

The episode The Dance of the Celestial Orb ends with the four kids discussing not giving up on the mission. Martina is enraged when she discovers a keychain belonging to Kate outside the vent opening.
