The Kardashians Episode 6 is out now! Hulu’s newest reality show features one of the most iconic families of the influencer culture, the Kardashian-Jenner family. The cast for this episode, therefore, includes Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian West, and Khloe Kardashian along with Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-partner, Scott Disick as well as her present fiance Travis Barker. The runtime of the fifth episode is 42 minutes.

– The Kardashians Episode 6 Recap Contains Mild Spoilers –

In the last episode of The Kardashians, we saw Scott and Kendall break into a fight where the latter walked out on the former. The Kardashians Episode 6 picks up from that moment and we see Kendall head to Kourtney’s house after the fight. At Kourtney’s place, Kendall recounts the entire incident to Kourtney and Khloe and the sisters have a discussion about Scott’s hostile behaviour of putting everyone in the middle. Khloe suggests Kourtney have a talk with Scott and set some real boundaries.

We next over to see Kim meet Scott Budnick, a good friend of hers and the founder of ARC who has been an influential figure in her taking up law. The two sit down to talk about Kim’s plans when she passes the Bar. Kim reveals the case she was handling of a person named Brandon Bernard, which was quite social media famous as the socialite was seen mourning when Bernard received a death sentence. She further talks about the case of Julius Jones that she’s presently handling.

We head to the next day which starts with Khloe and Tristan working out in Kim’s gym together (as Khloe’s house is still not complete) and the two have a good time together. They are greeted by Kim and Kanye, who are in the house to pick up the kids for school and after they leave Khloe states how Scott and Kanye are always gonna be family and the same looks for Tristan.

Meanwhile, Kim helps out Julius’ case at the ARC by garnering public support through her celebrity contacts including James Corden, Amy Schumer and others. As for Kanye, he tries to be a dedicated father by picking his kids up from school in a fire truck, just to be extra and doting. Kim explains how their differences are kept at bay when it comes to co-parenting the kids. Kim keeps working on Julius’ case which finally gets intervention from the governor moments before Julius is to be put on death row. We get to see news clips and more as Kim tells her story of helping Julius.

Kourtney and Travis, on the other hand, have had another unsuccessful egg retrieval and, they are set to begin the whole process again. We see the two’s families have dinner together and it is really sweet and adorable to see the two families blending. As for Kendall and Scott, it is not until the end of The Kardashians Episode 6 that we see the two sit down to have a talk. The discussion is fruitful. The episode ends with an emotional Kim Kardashian finally passing her Baby Bar exam and exclaiming in happiness.

The Kardashians Episode 6: Final Thoughts

The Kardashians Episode 6 has more to do with Kim and her law journey than with anyone else in the family which was good to see. However, with the sixth episode rolling it feels like the Kardashians have lost their glamour to keep us invested with their journey and antics, matter how soulful or dramatic they are. The lack of Kendall and Kylie’s presence does not help the cause along with Khloe still letting Tristan in her life. The situation with ‘Kimye’ still feels alien and, not explored enough given this is a ‘docu-series’ as Khloe says. Overall, the episode was good but, not good enough.
