– The Interest of Love Episode 10 Recap Contains Spoilers –
The Interest of Love episode 10 starts with Sang-su and Su-yeong at the train station, wherein he asks her to play the piano that they randomly find. Right after, while waiting for their train, Sang-su asks her whether she is happy or not, and a heartbroken Su-yeong asks him whether she should break up through tears.
They don’t talk about it on the train ride, and Sang-su brings it up while dropping her off at home. She asks him why he asked her whether she is happy or not and returns the question to him, asking him whether he is happy. Neither have anything to say to that and when she comes home, Jong-hyeon spots her getting out of his car and waits to have a conversation with her.

Meanwhile, Mi-gyeong comes to the horrible realisation that Sang-su knows about her past relationship with Gyeong-pil. She goes off to talk to Sang-su, and although Gyeong-pil tries to stop her, she goes off anyway.
On the other hand, Jong-hyen and Su-yeong clear the air, and he apologises to her for acting the way that he did and tells her that he will be moving out to his old apartment by the end of the month. Su-yeong tries to protest, but Jong-hyeon refuses to listen to her and assures her that he won’t give up on the exams and wants to start over with her.
At Sang-su’s, Mi-gyeong brings up her relationship with Gyeong-pil, but Sang-su assures her that her past isn’t any of his concern and it doesn’t make her dishonest. Mi-gyeong probably expected a screaming match or something, but Sang-su’s reaction takes her by surprise. She uses the opportunity to ask him whether he has had something like that in his past but chooses not to press him further when he looks uncomfortable.

On the other hand, Su-yeong can’t stop thinking about Sang-su’s question at the station and wonders whether she truly is happy, just as Jong-hyeon tells her that he loves her.
The next day at work, the bank does away with the dress code, and Gyeong-pil asks Sang-su why he didn’t have any thoughts about Mi-gyeong’s past. Sang-su wonders what there is to say to her, considering it happened back in college. But Gyeong-pil asks him whether he even likes Mi-gyeong.
When Su-yeong passes by with her uniform in her hand, Gyeong-pil twists the story around in such a way that it sounds like she is leaving the company. Tensed, he stops her to ask her why she would leave the bank so suddenly and doesn’t listen to her until the others, too, come out with their uniforms in their hand. Sang-su breathes a sigh of relief.
Later that night, Su-yeong and Jong-hyeon go out on a date while Sang-su takes Mi-gyeong to meet her mother at the spa. Mi-seon is also there, and it’s an awkward moment when she realises that Sang-su is Jung-im’s son. In the car, she forbids her daughter from dating him, but Mi-gyeong informs her that she likes him more than the other way around and that she won’t be breaking up with him.

Later that night, Mi-gyeong thanks Sang-su for taking a step towards her for the first time and invites him over to her house. However, he refuses to go over, leaving Mi-gyeong sad and restless as she is unable to stop thinking about Sang-su and Su-yeong’s relationship.
The next morning, Sang-su gets into a very uncomfortable situation when Dae-sung makes a surprise appearance at the bank to get a closer look at his daughter’s boyfriend. The sudden appearance sends a frenzy through the office, as everyone is shocked by Mi-gyeong’s background and wealth; the discussion puts Su-yeong in a rather awkward situation.
During lunch, a quiet break turns into a scary moment as Su-yeong’s mother gets into a small accident. Sang-su and Su-yeong rush her to the hospital, where she ushers Sang-su off even though he asks to stay back. When Mi-gyeong calls him to know how she is, the conversation gets super awkward as Sang-su asks her to keep Su-yeong’s mother a secret from the office and then thanks her for complying. Meanwhile, Jong-hyeon, unable to find Su-yeong after lunch, grows increasingly worried.

When her father comes rushing to the hospital, Su-yeong gives him a piece of her mind and asks her why she has pain in her legs when physically she is fine. She asks whether there is something more that he is hiding from her that is causing her mother’s health to deteriorate. Not getting an answer, she walks off and converses with Jong-hyeon.
Sang-su meets her at the bus stop, and the two of them eventually go on a walk together. They walk to his college campus and discuss his time there and his reaction to her ‘leaving’ that morning. As the two race each other on the streets, betting for the loser to buy dinner, Mi-gyeong tries to get in touch with Sang-su. Not getting any luck, she calls Su-yeong to no avail.
Meanwhile, Su-yeong and Sang-su cannot find a place open that late and promise to meet for dinner the next day. However, when she gets home, she finds Mi-gyeong standing outside her home. She asks to go in and gives her some of her clothes so that she can ask her where she has been all this time. She then decides to snoop in her bathroom and learns that Jong-hyeon has been living with Su-yeong.
Mi-gyeong discusses marriage with Sang-su and meeting each other’s parents, very passive aggressively, letting her know that things are becoming very serious between the two of them and asking Su-yeong to back off. She visits Sang-su next and throws a fit when she isn’t able to win Sang-su’s affection with money and cars. Either way, she straddles Sang-su with an expensive car that he doesn’t want, telling him to keep it or throw it away as he pleases.

On the other hand, Su-yeong finds out that Jong-hyeon is unable to pay his father’s hospital bills and decides to sell Mi-gyeong’s bribes to get some cash. Jong-hyeon refuses the money, but Su-yeong tells her that this is her way of revolting against people who find their big issues trivial and don’t struggle for them. Jong-hyeon reminds her that if he accepts the money, they will again go through similar issues as before, and Su-yeong asks him to make a choice simply.
The next day, Sang-su goes out golfing with Mi-gyeong and her family and is invited to dinner afterwards. He refuses to go to meet Su-yeong that night but is stood up by her. She gives him an excuse, unaware that he is standing right beside her, and is left perplexed at getting caught.
The Interest of Love Episode 10 Ending
Sang-su is pretty chill about it, though and takes her to the skating rink. The vibe is completely different than when he went skating with Mi-gyeong, and there’s a natural chemistry between the two that Sang-su catches on to.
In the end, they both realise that they are back to square one when it comes to each other, and in the end, he tells her that he can’t play friends anymore and straight up kisses her.
The Interest of Love Episode 10 Review

I just want to know why Gyeong-pil is such a passive-aggressive and shitty guy like, it is clear that he simply loves stirring crap around for his amusement. I wonder whether he’s a little sociopath who has fun watching the pain of others. But maybe that’s going a bit far.
Furthermore, Mi-gyeong’s constant whining and begging are just making me pity her – like, get some self-respect. She understands that there’s something under the surface between Sang-su and Su-yeong, but she still insists on throwing money at her issues to make every one like her.
And I get it. That’s what she has seen all her life, and compounded with the fact that her father never gave her the attention she craved, she is probably desperate to get this validation. But there should be a limit somewhere!
Either way, I am glad Sang-su and Su-yeong have stopped kidding themselves and are done with making out. At least in this way, they might just be able to make the right decision and stop wasting everyone’s time.
Regardless, I think this episode was rather slow and took its time pushing the narrative forward. It was enjoyable, but it would be great if the story moves a bit faster soon!

Very good acting by sang-su and su-yeong. It is slow but enjoyable to see how the series evolves with the four people.
Yes exactly! The series is deliciously slow and works really well because of it.
I read a comment earlier from a man that suggested she was a loose woman, I couldn’t have disagreed more. People thought she was a loose woman. She did not sleep with any of those three men. And I don’t know how anybody could deduce that out of this series. People thought she was a loose woman. If she was going to sleep with someone, it would’ve been SS a long time ago. She stated early on that the first time she saw him she liked him. So if she was going to be promiscuous, it would’ve been with him and she wouldn’t wait at three or four years to do that.
I read a comment from a man regarding SY, being a loose woman. I totally disagree with that statement. She said early on that she liked SS the first time she saw him. So if she was going to be promiscuous, it would have been with him Not the security guard and not that other idiot that she sat with in a hotel room. All of the idiot men that she worked around, due to her beauty, they were always suggesting and harassing her about men and dates. It never appeared to me that she was having sex with anyone. I hated the way she treated SS and continue to lie to him. If she had ever told the truth, their relationship with the continue to develop, but she was never honest until the last couple of minutes of the entire series. I have not seen the FL in any other movies or series, she really is beautiful and you could see why any man would pay attention to her. She didn’t seem to like the attention.
