The Hooligan Ending Explained: The Polish show ends with bloodshed, vengeance, and giving up on a life that could’ve been better and filled with happiness. With the final episode ending with another teenage life destroyed, the show brings out the reality behind the way things can change for teenagers when they go down the wrong path.

The plot of the show follows a young boy Kuba whose obsession with a football club emerges from his father who taught him all about it and how the club is the priority. However, things take a turn when he gets involved in the drug dealings that take place behind the scenes between his and the rival club. As he continues in his father’s reckless footsteps, things get worse when he plots a plan to help out his girlfriend, who is in financial trouble.

The Hooligan Ending Explained

The show follows teenager Kubo who is an avid fan of the football club followed by his father who has instilled the thought within him- the team is the family. Prioritising the club and its people all his life, he even takes the blame for his friend and leader Zyga which lands him in prison for six years. However, this doesn’t stop Kubo as he begins to idolise his father and follow his steps after his father is back from prison.

Caught in the excitement for fast money and the financial challenges faced by his family, Kubo begins working for Zyga as a drug dealer. While his parents are against his choices, he decides to do as he wishes and continues his work. However, when his girlfriend Blanka faces financial problems, they devise a plan to trick Zyga and his customers (who are members of the rival team).

When Zyga gets to know of this, he teaches Kubo a lesson by beating him up and chopping off his left hand. This fills Kubo up with fury and he decides to join the rival team and go against Zyga and his father. He soon flames the tension between the two teams and brings out the madness within him.

What Happens to Kubo’s Family?

While Kubo works for the rivals, his father tries his best to get his son back to their club. However, Kubo doesn’t listen to him, and only warns him once before the rivals are planning to attack Zyga. Drawn by his devotion to his team, Kubo’s father warns Zyga but also takes this opportunity to confront Zyga about the adultery between Zyga and his wife. This ends with the two getting into a physical fight and Zyga runs away after killing Kubo’s father. This further flames the desire for revenge within Kubo.

Meanwhile, his mother is driven to a state of madness from the heartbreak but holds on to her son. Finally, she convinces Blanka to help get her song out of this trouble and the two work together. When Kubo is arrested by the police, she tries to make him testify for himself and give the police the information they want. Finally, after all the chaos ends, the two women give each other support while waiting for Kubo’s return.

How Does Kubo Take His Revenge?

After his father’s death, Kubo finds the location where Zyga is hiding and reaches there before anyone else. He then enters Zyga’s hideout, where he stabs him in the chest but lets him go when Zyga’s daughter appears. This also gives Zyga the chance to escape but Kubo is caught soon after. Kubo doesn’t stop here as he goes on to trouble Zyga’s men in prison, even stabbing him with a blade on the neck which almost leaves him dead.

While the matter after this isn’t as clear, we can say that Kubo moves on to reveal all information about the two gangs which is why we later see police capturing the whole circle at their hideouts. Thus, ending Kubo’s revenge.

What Happens to Zyga?

Zyga manages to escape all this chaos thanks to his daughter who distracts Kubo and gains his sympathy. He then moves on to continue his business somewhere else but during a deal, he is killed without being able to fight back.

What Happens to Blanka?

After telling Kubo of her pregnancy while he is in prison, Blanka is heartbroken when he tells her that she should move on as he is going to stay in prison for quite a while. Blanka decides to continue her education with the money the two collected together. We can assume that she continues to stay with Kubo’s mother waiting for Kubo while keeping her pregnancy.
