The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn As A Typical Nobody Review – Everyone Wants The Popular Guy!
The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn As A Typical Nobody Episode 4 begins with a love confession. Remember the time when the reincarnated Demon King Ard just wanted to make friends? Well, it does not even seem anywhere on the plot. After a date with Ireena and Ginny together, Ard’s popularity has only continued to skyrocket. After his public display of power against a flying demon in the previous episode, Ard is popular in his Academy. Will this popularity harm him? What about the villains we saw at the end of the previous episode?
Starting with a love confession and a jealous Ireena, Ard seems to be on everyone’s mind. We are introduced to another teacher at the Academy of Magic, named Professor Jessica. As expected, we get zero introduction to her. Despite that, she plays an integral part in Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou Murabito A ni Tensei suru Episode 4. Remember Lady Olivia, one of the previous Four Heavenly Kings, who is also a professor and knew Ard in his previous life? She could have played a more important role in this series but is just another sidelined and under-utilized character for now.
The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn As A Typical Nobody is puddled with plotholes. The demons attacking were supposed to be involved in some grand scheme with a leader. This might be true, but the plan seems to be a watered-down version. Situations happen randomly and too conveniently. As expected by Ard, his helping out Ginny had helped her regain her self-confidence. And well, as expected from a succubus, she does not let any opportunity of approaching Ard go to waste. Ireena is too innocent for her own good, and the two of them might be future rivals seeing their undeniable common goals.
With situations taking a turn for the worse in The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn As A Typical Nobody Episode 4, the only saving grace is the small comedic situation popping up now and then. The shoddy plot and poor character development seem to follow the usual harem and battle cliches, sprinkled with invaders and kidnappings. The animation in the battle scenes is especially slow and, despite being of decent quality, fails to provide its full potency. The studio is doing its best to extend its budget – putting the tournament tree overlay on top of the stills and pushing the magic circles up into the foreground to take benefit of their flashiness.
After a superficial attempt to establish a backstory, The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn As A Typical Nobody Episode 4 is now going full throttle into the world of light harem, tournaments, and so-called legendary characters with poor character developments. With no sense of urgency or satisfaction being delivered due to poor animations, there is nothing positive to talk about it.Follow us on Instagram & Facebook to keep yourself updated with the latest news and reviews.
