The Falcon And The Winter Soldier Episode 5 Promo ‘Hurt’: Sam Wants The Shield!

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has only two more episodes to go. The show stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Daniel Brühl and Erin Kellyman. In the fourth episode, we saw Captain America John Walker’s bloody side, played by Russell. Today, Marvel released a new promo, and it’s going to be darker than everything we witnessed so far.

Ever since John Walker became the new Captain America, Sebastian Stan’s Bucky and all the MCU fandom has been asking only one question to Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson, aka Falcon – Why did you give up the shield? Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) had given the shield to Sam in Avengers: Endgame because of the faith he had in him. In the new promo called ‘Hurt’, Sam has finally realised he needs to get the shield back in his hands.

Well, it’s not going to be an easy task. The new 15 seconds Hurt promo of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier shows new Captain America having a powerful showdown with Sam and Bucky. Sam says to John Walker, “We don’t want anyone else to get hurt. You gotta give me the shield.” To this, Walker responds, “You don’t want to do this.” Bucky says, “Yeah, we do.” John Walker has a bloody smirk on his face, and he says to the duo, “We could have been a team.”

It looks like after the fourth episode, someone is again going to get hurt badly in the upcoming The Falcon and The Winter Soldier episode. We also see glimpses of Sharon Carter, Karli and Zemo. The new promo promises a powerful and action-packed episode 5. The look in Falcon’s eyes when he asks Captain America to give the shield is full of seriousness and anger. We wonder how that fight will end tomorrow.

Marvel had already shared a new promo earlier this week. In the promo, we see that he already gets shields on his hands. But we are eager to know John Walker’s fate in the upcoming episode.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier happens 6 months after the events of Avengers: Endgame. This is the second MCU series released on Disney+. The first one was WandaVision starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany. Set only a few days after Endgame, the series received lots of positive response from critics and fans worldwide. Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan’s show is enjoying the same level of appreciation.

After TFATWS ends, fans will have to wait until June to watch Tom Hiddleston’s Loki. The show will tell us the story of the 2012 Loki who disappeared with the tesseract during the time heist scene in Endgame. A few days ago, Marvel shared a new trailer that showed how the God of Mischief created a new timeline and has to fix it. After WandaVision and the episodes of TFATWS episodes so far, fans have high expectations from Loki.

What do you think will happen with John Walker, aka new Captain America, in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier in the new episode? Do let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
