Apple TV+’s The Essex Serpent has become one of the much-talked gothic dramas in recent times. The series is based on Sarah Perry’s novel of the same name. What will happen in The Essex Serpent Episode 5

• After getting accused of having some link with the serpent and getting physical with Will, Cora has lost her cool. She tells her son and house help Martha that they have to leave Essex and head back to London.
• Martha and Luke slept together after learning that Cora is interested in Will. Chances are, once they return to London, things are going to be awkward between Martha, Luke, Cora and George.
