In The Clearing Episode 5, we see all of the fans’ dreams come true. Matriah has been on the sidelines for a long time now and, this episode was her coming into the frontlines and shinning. We saw her entire journey, starting from being a regular person to being blessed (or cursed?) with vision to her meeting Dr. Lanthan and his wife and getting the plan for building The Kindred kickstarted. Yes, it was a flashback episode and, a much needed one to give the show some edge which has been missing for the last few episodes.
