-Taxi Driver Season 2 Episode 6 Recap Contains Spoilers-
Taxi Driver season 2 episode 6 begins with Kang Pil-seung confronting Do-gi and Go-eun about their not being married and leaving the house that has been decorated for them. However, Do-gi brings out his desperation and tells Pil-seung that they are indeed not married but the wish for a home made them act this way.
Their desperation is liked by Pil-seung as he takes them to his office where a model of their new house is placed. Do-gi and Go-eun show their excitement but are soon hit with the news of the latter’s pregnancy by Pil-seung who tells them to be prepared for a child.

This confuses them, but they soon realise that he is referring to his underground dealings with couples before giving them a house. They agree to his request and go back to share this information with the rest.
Elsewhere, the little girl is entertained by Sung-chul who later brings her drawing to the table when exchanging information with the rest. He shows them some pictures and Do-gi realises that she has drawn them through her point of view which is behind the steel bars of the room where they are locked up.
The scene of her past where she is locked up with other kids is shown and we find out that Pil-seung has been abusing the kids along with the orphanage director. These kids are kept locked up in a stinking basement and are treated like animals who are left to fend off themselves.

While the team continues their discussion, Do-gi gets a call from Pil-seung and soon leaves for the hospital where he has been called to with Go-eun. There they are told to select a name for their child while a single mom walks in and begs Pil-seung not to take her child away.
However, this is not acceptable to him and he tries to get the child by force when Do-gi notices the situation and distracts them by ringing the fire alarm. The woman soon escapes but Pil-seung’s lackey rushes after her only to be stopped by Do-gi and Go-eun who protect the woman and take her to a shelter for single mothers.
Do-gi then tracks down the real estate under Pil-seung’s name and visits the one with the lowest market price. This place is a photo studio where he brought the children to take pictures with different parents, and the little girl who came to help herself had four sets of parents.

Do-gi thinks about the young girl who was left heartbroken multiple times and is filled with rage against Pil-seung and his people. The next day when Pil-seung’s lackeys get another child for the pictures, Do-gi enters and beats them all up, following which he takes the child away with him.

Elsewhere, Pil-seung is rejoicing to have another apartment under his name when a couple walks in and demands their home back from him only to be left threatened and in debt by the former. However, he soon receives a video of his men being beaten which makes him rush out.

Taxi Driver Season 2 Episode 6 Ending
Taxi Driver season 2 episode 6 ends with Do-gi soon reaching the place where the kids have been locked only to end up falling into a trap laid by Pil-seung as he locks the former inside and put the house on fire. Do-gi tells the rest of his team to follow Pil-seung as he has taken the kids with him before trying to find a way out.

However, he soon hears the cries of a child and rushes upstairs to save the young one before dashing out of the house. He then catches up with the rest of the team and Pil-seung and reaches the latter’s office. There, he rushes to fight Pil-seung while the others begin their search for the children.
They soon find the kids while Do-gi punishes Pil-seung for what he has done. Following this incident, the kids are taken to a better place while Sung-chul donates everything they earned from this to an orphanage.

While everyone is rejoicing, On Ha-joon is seen making his way out to work only to enter a lavish house where he gives the keys to the taxi to one of his men to work while he himself rushes inside to change his looks. As he stares at a wall filled with information and pictures of the Rainbow Taxi team, he smirks.
Later, he meets Pil-seung after the incident and asks him for details about what happened.

Taxi Driver Season 2 Episode 6 Review
Episode 6 finally brings an end to the case brought out by the little girl but it has been a shocker for many as our hopes of Ha-joon being a good character were shattered like fragile glass. And yes, this was painful for us because while we knew that there was something wrong with his character, there was little hope to be proven wrong.
The case of the little girl brought out another unique way of committing crimes along with the extent to which humanity has fallen for some people. And while we would want to brush it off as fiction, this might as well be true in some places.
The child actors have done a fantastic job in these two episodes and the extent of their talent was clearly visible to us all. And the rest of the cast too have done very well in working their roles with these children.
Now coming to Ha-joon, while it is revealed that he is definitely not someone who is going to work well with the Rainbow Taxi team, there is still some hope because the previous episode did show that he was in contact with the little girl but never revealed anything about her to Pil-seung.
On the other hand, Pil-seung did seem quite frightened by him which makes us think of how dangerous Ha-joon really is. However, one thing that we are all sure about is that Ha-joon really is a very interesting character which still have the option of going either way, and witnessing this would keep us close to the show.
What do you think about On Ha-joon? Let us know in the comments below!
