SUGA Road to D-DAY Teaser Poster has revealed the release date and some snippets about the documentary. BTS Member is currently preparing for his official solo album D-Day and his upcoming tour in various cities. With the release of his album, the singer and rapper is planning to showcase the whole process of how his album came together, through the Disney+ film.

In the released poster, we can see Suga donning a green jacket and matching t-shirt with off-white pants while holding his green-coloured mic, and looking up to the sky. In the captions, it says that it’s his story from being an idol to a producer and it’s essentially a road movie with artist Suga’s music.

Along with the poster, a greeting video was also released by Disney+ Korea in which the rapper appears in a black and white outfit with a pair of glasses to go with it. He shares that the documentary will contain the story of preparing his first solo album, and his journey to find his dream once again!

It will show Suga’s process of working on the album ahead of the release of his solo album. It is the first time that the BTS member will be showing the whole process of how he makes his songs and what made him choose certain tracks for this album. Also, being a road movie we will see Suga’s journey to interact with artists from various cities around the world and find a new story through music.

He is seen going from place to place like Las Vegas, Malibu, Chuncheon in South Korea, Pyeongchang, San Francisco, Tokyo and obviously Seoul, as he moves around meeting new people and making music by gaining inspiration from them.

BTS’ Suga hopes to share personal insight into his producing and alter ego Agust D as well as the struggles he faced throughout the process and how he deals with it all. In the released trailer we hear the rapper saying that we often worry about the uncertain future and become afraid of it. But he has realised that no matter how much you agonize over the past, the present is the only thing you can control & that’s what he plans to do.

Similarly, his album will contain stories that focus on the present and will keep dreaming about what he wants more in life while working hard to achieve it. In the documentary, we can also see Halsey, Steve Aoki, Anderson Paak and even late artist Ryuichi Sakamoto with whom the BTS member has collaborated with.

Recently, he also unveiled the pre-release track from his album which also features one of the greatest Korean soloist singers IU. Probably we will see how the two came together to collaborate in the documentary film as well.

The track title is revealed to be People Pt 2, which seems like a follow-up song to his previous track People, from his 2020 mixtape D-2. Similarly, in 2020 BTS’ Suga also featured and produced IU’s single Eight, which instantly became a hit among the public and fans alike. Currently, BTS’ Jimin is promoting his solo album Face with the title track Like Crazy and Suga will thus become the next member to unveil his solo work.
