Star Wars Fans, Rejoice! The Book of Boba Fett Release Date Announced

Just like Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Star Wars world is expanding. Along with movies, the franchise is giving us amazing shows. The Book of Boba Fett is one of the shows that fans are eagerly waiting to watch. Temuera Morrison, who we met in The Mandalorian Season 2, will reprise the role.

Earlier this year, Star Wars announced their slate and the number of TV shows they will release in the next two years. The spin-off of The Mandalorian series featuring the bounty hunter was one of them. Along with Temuera, actor Ming-Na Wen will also reprise her character as Fennec Shand.

Today, Disney Plus took to their social media pages to announce the release date of The Book of Boba Fett. They shared a poster announcing the release date, which is – December 29, 2021. December 29 is Wednesday which means it will start streaming post-MCU’s Hawkeye. The synopsis of the show reads – “The Book of Boba Fett – a thrilling Star Wars adventure, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the Galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.”

Disney Plus wrote on Instagram, “His story is only beginning. #TheBookOfBobaFett, an all-new Original Series, starts streaming December 29 on #DisneyPlus.”

The first episode will be out on December 29, and every new episode will be available on Wednesday post that. Now all the eyes are on the trailer, which we can expect to be unveiled soon.

As per the reports, Robert Rodriguez, Jon Favreau, Bryce Dallas Howard and Dave Filoni have directed the show’s episodes. The Mandalorian’s music composer Ludwig Göransson will compose the title track for yet another SW series.
