Spider Man No Way Home starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Benedict Cumberbatch and Marisa Tomei received a great response worldwide. The film has given us the first taste of what the multiverse would look like. We not only met the iconic villains from the past but also our favourite spideys – Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
We can discuss some spoilers now that it has been a few days since the film has released. Spider Man No Way Home has a mid-credits and an end-credits scene. Do not worry if you have missed them by mistake or wondering what happened. This article will explain the No Way Home post-credits scene to you.
Spider Man No Way Home Mid Credits & End Credits Scenes Explained:
In the mid-credits scenes, we meet Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock, aka Venom. With this scene, Marvel has introduced Hardy’s symbiote in the MCU. In the scene, we learn that after Doctor Strange and Peter Parker screw up the spell, Eddie/Venom also transport to their universe like the other villains. However, Eddie is a good guy, and he learns about Thanos’ events, Iron Man and the blip through a bartender. Suddenly, Eddie vanishes, and we know that it’s because of Doctor Strange.
In the climax, Strange completes his spell to stop the multiversal mess. Hence, along with the other bad guys and Spideys, Eddie also transports back to his universe. But he unknowingly leaves behind a tiny bit of his Venom symbiote. Is Venom the next big villain in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4? Only time will tell.
Now coming to the end-credits scene of Spider Man No Way Home. It is the teaser of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This is the first time Marvel has shown a teaser of their upcoming film in the post-credits scenes. In the teaser, Doctor Strange visits Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and asks her about her knowledge of the multiverse. The mess caused by the spell in No Way Home has caused major trouble, and things have gotten out of hand.
But the main twist in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness teaser was an evil Doctor Strange. Fans who have watched What If on Disney+ will know what it means when there’s an evil Strange. We’ve seen one as Strange Supreme in the animated Marvel series, and he possesses powers like no one else. So is the evil Strange in the teaser Strange Supreme? We will get the answers only when we watch the film next year.
Well, this is what happened in the post-credits scenes of No Way Home. The film and the credits scene were both outstanding. Hence, fans are showering Marvel and the team with lots of praises.
