Soundtrack #1: All to Know About Disney+ Hotstar’s Upcoming Korean Drama

Disney+ Hotstar is slowly but, steadily increasing its slate for Korean dramas. With Snowdrop releasing a while back and, Soundtrack 1 (사운드트랙 #1) aka Soundtrack #1 or Soundtrack No. 1 making a debut this March 2022, the streaming network is picking up quality content, although the quality and quantity both are superior on Netflix as of now. But, with the release of this K-drama, one can assume that the tables will flip and, Disney+ Hotstar will soon join the race to air one of the best Korean content globally.

As of now, the upcoming release Soundtrack 1 is a romantic drama that is created by NHN Bugs (Planning and production investment) and written by Ahn Sae-bom, with the series being helmed by director Kim Hee-won. With production companies Red Nine Pictures and Xanadu Entertainment tied to the project, let us quickly have a look at some important details such as cast, release date and more.

Soundtrack 1 Cast

The main cast members of the show include Park Hyung-sik as Han Seon-woo and Han So-hee as Lee Eun-soo with actor Lee Jung-eun in a supporting role. Actors Park Hoon and Park Min-jung will make special appearances in the show in the role of Gyeol-han and Marie, respectively.

Soundtrack 1 Plot/Synopsis

The series’ trailer description on YouTube reads: “Han Sun-Woo is a rookie photographer. He doesn’t talk much, but he is a kind and warm-hearted man. He is friends with Lee Eun-Soo. They have been close friends for 20 years. Meanwhile, Lee Eun-Soo works as a lyricist to make living. She has an honest and bright personality. Due to certain reasons, Han Sun-Woo and Lee Eun-Soo begin to live together at the same house for 2 weeks. Staying together, their relationship develops romantically.”

The K-drama is scheduled to premiere on March 23, 2022, on Disney+ Hotstar. It will consist of four episodes in total.
