Shark Tank India Season 3 Episode 5 Review
Shark Tank India Season 3 Episode 5 starts with the introduction of a new judge in the panel. This season it seems that the show has really elaborated their investors and brought in people from different areas. Joining the third season is Radhika Gupta, MD & CEO of Edelweiss Mutual Fund. The episode touches on Radhika’s story of being who she is before heading to the pitches of the night.
The first pitch of the night is presented by the brand Dil Foods (owned by Arpita Aditi)- a unique sustainable and tasty solution to the underutilized capacity in the restaurant world. The brand is building a virtual franchise with real-life resources and how they are doing it turns out to be a rather interesting story. This particular pitch was educational in so many aspects, introducing the viewers to a rather out-of-the-box business idea; something which the Shark Tank franchise has been famous for but, this particular Indian season has been lacking so far (in my eyes, of course).

The next entrepreneur on the stage is also a woman making India proud- Pratyusha with her brand AI Kavach. The brand name is exactly what it sounds: an AI-equipped application that protects. But, what? Well, every one of us who is in the digital space from cyber fraud. Stating some serious statistics and relevant information and experience Pratyusha goes on to offer a pitch that makes the sharks as well as the viewers think hard about their digital presence.
A heart-warming duo takes over next on stage- a mother (Jovita) and son (Jordan). And, surprisingly their brand might just be something we all know (especially, our dearest drink enthusiasts)- Bartisans. With a sweet pitch and some lovely drink mixers served alongside, they ace their time on the show with humbleness and smiles.
Shark Tank India Season 3 Episode 5: Final Thoughts
Shark Tank India Season 3 Episode 5 was really good. The businesses that came in were unique, the founders were charming and put their pitches forward in a great manner and overall, there was a feel of knowing and liking something. The fifth episode was way better than the fourth one. Of course, there was some drama but, well, it feels like Aman Gupta is just tryna be controversial for the sake of it. It will be more clear in the coming episodes though (or, it could just be Anupam’s absence that made him play the way he did in today’s episode).
