New Update On Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan; Vidya Balan’s Sherni Teaser Out!

Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in Mumbai, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan’s shooting had to stop in April. Also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, the filming took place at the YRF studio in the city. Ever since the filming stopped, there was no update on the project and when it will resume.

So far, SRK’s Pathan has completed only the first schedule. As it is a comeback film for the superstar since he last appeared in 2018’s Zero, the expectation, anticipation, and excitement are sky-high. But here’s good news for all the King Khan fans. It looks like the superstar and the crew and cast might soon recommence the film’s shooting.

The state government has extended the lockdown-like restrictions till June 15, 2021. So YRF is hoping that they will get a green signal from June 16 to start filming again. About the same, an insider told Mid Day, “Some members of Pathan crew have received their jabs, the majority will be vaccinated over the next week. Buzz in the industry is that the government will give a green signal to shoots after June 15. That way, the team will be ready to begin filming in a bio-bubble. The production house is treading carefully, given the impact of the second wave, and will film the portions entirely inside the Yash Raj studio in Andheri.”

So far, SRK or YRF has not officially announced anything about the film. But not so long ago, a fan asked the superstar about the announcement to which he gave a classic reply.
