Brenda’s Bachelorette

Another day, another adventure! Bless The Harts episode 14 has everyone in the Hart family, other than Wayne, having the time of their lives. While Jenny enjoys Brenda’s bachelorette, gets drunk and breaks rules, Violet takes full advantage of the freedom she has for the time Jenny is away. She gets a piercing, watches movies late at night, drinks caffeine and more and all the while she makes Wayne, who is obviously supposed to take care of her, worried. On the other hand, Betty reunites with his former crush and shares some intimate moments with him while he is on his death bed and not to anyone’s surprise Betty, got him in this situation in the first place.

There is not much happening in this episode. It is more about having fun and getting love and affection. Watching Wayne get worried about Violet like a father and then correcting himself by saying step-father is painful but is also adorable! Wayne loves Violet and Jenny and there is no denying that, we have seen glimpses of that in the previous episodes too and I stan.

For a moment I thought that Bless The Harts episode 14 will bring Betty something permanent in terms of love and affection but well, Betty Hart is the queen of messing her life. You might wonder how can Betty lead her old flame to his death bed and be in love with him. Betty, in rage, makes a fake call regarding his old flame’s strip club going up in flames in anger which leads to him having a cardiac arrest! Ah, Betty.

Bless The Harts episode 14 is no brainer and has no underlying social commentary like other episodes. It is simple and is set in a playful and light hearted tone with a good blend of humor and parental responsibility.
