Roar is Apple TV’s upcoming anthology series that promises to satisfy your feministic heart. The streaming platform has previously given us shows like Little America (2020) which followed this same anthology format. This upcoming series is a book to screen adaptation, as the screenplay is based on Cecelia Ahern’s 2018 short story collection of the same name.
Created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, who are best known for the comedy-drama- GLOW, Roar has a bunch of renowned executive producers which include Nicole Kidman, Per Saari, Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, Allie Goss, Theresa Park and, Ahern herself. Produced by Blossom Films, Made Up Stories, Greenlight Go Productions, Per Capita Productions and Endeavor Content, the show is distributed by Apple Inc.
