Richard Madden on Ikaris in Eternals, “His Decisions are Driven by Love”

Eternals is the most-awaited movie of the year presented by Marvel Cinematic Universe and will contain phase 4 of the screenplay. The marvellous superhero film will see renowned Hollywood artists Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Gemma Chan, Kit Harington, and Richard Madden showcase their brilliant acting prowess. Game of Thrones fame Richard Madden will be seen in Eternals essaying the role of Ikaris, one of the strongest Eternal members who is trapped between love and fidelity. 

Richard’s character of Robb Stark in Game of Thrones showed him as a dutiful and disciplined personality but in Eternals Richard’s character of Ikaris is undergoing an inner battle within himself and is stuck emotionally and mentally. According to Richard Madden, he loved each and every aspect of playing the character of Ikaris who is a great warrior but battling an inner conflict. He expressed that he never got a chance to portray such kinds of characters but through Ikaris Richard was able to challenge his versatility.

Ikaris’ love interest Sersi always becomes a barrier in his mission and he constantly tries to distract him and focus on his goal. Richard Madden’s character is all about trying to cope up with his feelings that trying to meddle in his tasks. Ikaris is fighting his feelings so that he performs his duty and balance his love life as well. We are dying to see Richard Madden in Eternals and cannot wait to see his character of Ikaris in a spectacular Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.

Eternals is directed by award-winning filmmaker Chloé Zhao and has a huge star cast comprising of Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Harish Patel, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, and Angelina Jolie. Eternals is all set to release for Indian audiences in India on 5th November 2021.
