Return to Hogwarts Trailer: Harry Potter Reunion Promises Lots of Tears and Smiles

After a long wait, HBO Max has finally dropped the Return to Hogwarts trailer. As Harry Potter films complete their 20th anniversary, HBO Max decided to treat the huge fandom with a sweet reunion. After teasing us all with behind-the-scenes stills and a promo, the trailer is here to make us cry tears full of joy. The trailer features our favourite trio Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.

The Harry Potter reunion trailer is full of magic and wonderful people coming together. These people have made us smile, cry, and be happy for over a decade. Seeing our favourite Harry, Hermoine and Ron hug each other tightly against us was a good nostalgic kick. In the trailer, Rupert Grint says, “I’ve watched you grow up. And I’ve seen kind of every stage of your life.”

Some of my other favourite highlights of Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts trailer is the tight hug Emma gives to Tom Felton, aka Draco Malfoy. Our favourite twins Fred and George Weasley, played by James and Oliver Phelps, also flaunt their adorable smiles.

Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts Trailer Still

Helena Bonham Carter, who played the terrifying Bellatrix Lestrange, shares her favourite scene and also shows the creepy teeth set she still has of her character. Ralph Fiennes, who played ‘you-know-who’, has an interesting anecdote to share. The trailer will make the entire fandom cry, smile, clap and cheer with happiness and nostalgia. It’s truly a memory down the lane.

HBO Max captioned the trailer on their social media, “Old memories shared. New memories made. Come celebrate the magic when Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: #ReturnToHogwarts arrives on New Year’s Day, only on HBO Max.”.
