In this film adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat, we see a true story about how a 20-year-old Kashmiri girl acts as an instrument in the middle of the war. The film tracks the journey of Mohan, an Indian expatriate employed with NASA who travels to his nation in an attempt to reconnect with his beloved nanny, Kaveri. Shershaah

A film by Vishnu Varadhan, Shershaah stars Sidharth Malhotra in the title role. The film recounts the story of a PVC awardee brave Indian soldier- Capt. Vikram Batra, the man who shot to fame to become a household name during the 1999 Kargil War. Filled with courage and bravery, the film is a testimony of how India won the Kargil War in 1999. Rang De Basanti

The list will never be complete without Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s directorial project Rang De Basanti, which features an ensemble cast of Aamir Khan, Siddharth, Atul Kulkarni, Soha Ali Khan, Sharman Joshi, Cyrus Sahukar, Kunal Kapoor and Alice Patten.
